Ragin’ Cajun third baseman Jonathan Windham hit a single RBI in the tenth inning to defeat the Tigers 4-3 Wednesday night. 
Coach Mainieri says each loss tells him more about his team. But last night told him their defense needs work. 
“We didn’t play well defensively. We just seemed very tentatively back there.”
There were numerous dropped balls and missed out opportunities. But there is no time to let a loss stop progress.
“We’ve turned the page. We’ve got a big series this weekend and we’re just taking it one a time.”
Hawaii has an impressive pitching staff with a combined ERA average of less than 2.0. Sophomore Zack Hess will start on the mound for the Tigers. 
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors will be at the Box for a series this weekend.
