Zack Hess’s career high 13 strikeouts led LSU to an 8-1 win over Toledo on March 2nd.
“It’s crazy. He’s a great pitcher, and he came out today and competed. Good things happened to him,” LSU third baseman Jake Slaughter said on Zack Hess’s performance.
Hess set a new career high with 13 strikeouts against Toledo after setting a previous career high just a week earlier against Texas.
LSU’s next game is Saturday, March 3rd against Sacred Heart at Alex Box Stadium
