LSU softball finished out the LSU Invitational strong by defeating Florida Atlantic University 5-1 on Sunday, March 4th.

The Tigers took the early lead after sophomore Sydney Springfield hit a grand slam in the first inning.
LSU went undefeated in the tournament defeating Illinois State, McNeese State, Purdue and Florida Atlantic.
The No. 10 ranked Tigers improve to 19-2 for the season as they prepare to start SEC play in the upcoming week.
LSU will host the Auburn Tigers on Friday, March 9th at 6 p.m.
