The Tigers closed out the LSU Invitational tournament with a strong 5-1 win against Florida Atlantic University on Sunday.
LSU took an early 4-0 lead after sophomore Sydney Springfield hit a grand slam in the first inning.
Senior pitcher Allie Walljasper had an impressive performance in the game with eight strikeouts.
LSU did not lose a single game in the invitational defeating Illinois State, McNeese State, Purdue and Florida Atlantic.
The No. 10 ranked Tigers improve to 19-2 for the season as they prepare to start SEC play in the upcoming week. LSU also remains undefeated (15-0) at home in Tiger Park.
