LSUPD said the area is secure and there is no threat after a report of an armed person on campus.

LSUPD sent an emergency alert on Tuesday reporting an armed subject in the area near the Union Square parking garage and the Barnes and Noble Bookstore.
LSUPD said they are on the scene and to use caution in the area.
