The Tigers had four home runs in the 9-3 victory over Tennessee on Friday night.
“It was just momentum that kept piling on and piling on,” senior Austin Bain said.
This is the first time that LSU hit four home runs against an SEC opponent since a 2013 game against Ole Miss at Alex Box Stadium.
The Tigers hope to carry this momentum into game two of the series on Saturday against the Volunteers at 8 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium.
