The Coast Guard and environmental agencies are responding to reports of an oil spill on the Mississippi River near New Orleans.
Authorities received alerts at around 10:30am of a Singapore flagged vessel hitting a pier and dumping diesel fuel into the river.
Officials say the leak has been plugged but are not sure how much fuel leaked into the river.
The details of the crash are still under investigation
