After a rocky start to National Signing Day, coach Ed Orgeron and LSU looked for a turnaround after missing out on the nation’s No. 1 cornerback that picked Alabama on Wednesday.
With the commitment of Kelvin Joseph, the Tigers will have added depth to a thin secondary after the departures of Donte Jackson and Kevin Toliver II, along with missing out on DB Mario Goodrich.
Joseph, a physical and versatile defensive back, will be an asset for Orgeron to utilize instantly.
The No. 32 overall player in the ESPN 300 rankings have been committed to LSU since the U.S. Army All-American game on Jan. 6.
