LSU’s theatre department performed “Arcadia” a play written by famous English playwright, Tom Stoppard this past weekend.
The play runs from Feb 15-25 and can be seen in the Shaver Theatre of the Music and Dramatic Arts building.
Arcadia takes place in 1807 and switches back and forth to the present day in the same setting.
This play is a beautiful composition that offers a unique perspective on the nature of truth and time.
Harrison Magner, Assistant director, comments “It is definitely one of the most interesting plays I’ve ever seen and it isn’t something you can just read about… you have to watch it.”
Actor Mike DiSalvo comments, “It is brilliantly crafted.”
“The language is beautiful,” says actress, Erica Fox.
