LSU Gymnastics’s head coach D-D Breaux talks about LSU’s win against Kentucky, the team’s upcoming meet at Missouri and how Myia Hambrick has been excelling on floor routines.
Coach Breaux feels the judges need to focus more on Hambrick’s performance rather than her placement in the routines “The judges need to learn to judge the routine that they’re seeing and not where they’re placed in the order of things.” The Lady Tigers Head Coach also says Hambrick anchors the floor routine because she performs it best. “She’s the best floor person we have right now, and I think putting her at the end of the line up is a very deserving thing.”
Coach Breaux also talks about the team’s bond with a young girl named Gracie who came with a wish foundation
“It’s been a very, very close relationship ever since, and the family is just absolutely remarkable.”
