“There’s been zero inquiries. There’s been zero contact by the NCAA, to me, my staff, my players, our administration, our school.”
Head Coach Will Wade is not allowing the NCAA probe to distract him and his team from achieving their ultimate goal.
“We’re going to continue to work extremely hard to bring a top tier national championship caliber basketball program to our state and to our school.”
Coach Wade discussed how his recruiting process is conducted by he and his staff and what he looks for in recruits.
“We we work extremely hard. It’s something we value. The lifeblood of any program is student athletes. We spend more time than most researching backgrounds, finding kids who have overcome adversity.”
Coach Wade also discussed SEC’s level of competition this year and the league’s representation in the upcoming NCAA tournament.
“I think the SEC has eight teams that could make the second weekend of the NCAA tournament. That’s how goo the league is. It’s very balanced.”
LSU’s next game is Wednesday, February 28th, at South Carolina.
