About a dozen cars were broken into at the Nicholson Gateway surface lots early Friday morning, according to an email sent from Residential Life to Nicholson Gateway residents.
The email said LSUPD officers noticed broken windows on some cars while doing a routine checkup. They reviewed security footage and determined cash was stolen from the cars around 4:15 a.m.
