LSU added another prospect to its 2020 recruiting class when four-star quarterback Max Johnson committed to the Tigers.
Johnson is the son of Super Bowl-winning quarterback Brad Johnson, who was a two-time pro bowler and threw for 29,054 yards and 166 touchdowns in his 15-year career.
Max, 6-foot-4, 214-pounds, is from Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, Georgia. According to 247sports.com, he’s ranked as the No. 68 overall prospect and No. 5 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2020. LSU also secured a commitment from Denham Springs’ quarterback TJ Finley in May.
Johnson chose LSU over Miami, Florida State and Georgia.
