LSU football added another big piece to its 2019 class with the addition of Destrehan running back John Emery, who announced his commitment to the LSU via Twitter Tuesday night.
Emery is a five-star prospect on 247sports, but a four-star on Rivals.com and joins a loaded class ranked in the top-10 heading into the day, headlined by five-star recruit cornerback Derek Stingley and offensive guard Kardell Thomas.
Emery, who had previously been a Georgia commit, decommitted from the Bulldogs after LSU 36-16 tromping in Death Valley on Oct. 13.  The running back joins Tyrion Davis as the other LSU commit in the backfield.
