The Tigers (6-1, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) also moved up seven spots to No. 5 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Bulldogs dropped to No. 6 in the Coaches Poll and No. 8 in the AP Poll following the loss.
LSU still has to face No. 22 Mississippi State, No. 1 Alabama and No. 17 Texas A&M in the final stretch of the season.
