LSU coach Ed Orgeron gave injury updates ahead of the Tigers matchup with No. 22 Mississippi State.
Orgeron said junior nose tackle Ed Alexander will play, but junior defensive end Breiden Fehoko is listed as questionable after missing practice on Wednesday.
In Alexander’s absence, Orgeron said Glen Logan really stepped up with the extra workload against Georgia.
Senior left guard Garrett Brumfield will be out for the fourth consecutive week after sustaining a knee injury in LSU’s win over Louisiana Tech.
Orgeron also said LSU is not over looking a tough Mississippi State team before facing No. 1 Alabama on Nov. 3. He said he has not had trouble getting the Tigers hyped up for this SEC matchup.
“We didn’t mention what we’re going to do next week,” Orgeorn said. “All I mentioned was how bad Mississippi State whooped us [last season].”
