The LSU Board of Supervisors concluded LSU President F. King Alexander’s annual evaluation and voted today to raise his salary and extend his contract with the University.
“He has led us through another fantastic record-setting year in the face of tremendous adversity,” said LSU Board of Supervisors Chair James Williams during the Board’s meeting today.
The Board voted to extend Alexander’s contract with the University for another five years and increase his salary by 3 percent.
Williams said Alexander has brought many positive things to the University this year, including budget stability, student growth, a stronger brand and new projects like Nicholson Gateway.
“Just when you think it can’t get any better, it’s getting better,” Williams said at the meeting.
