LSU fans are more than un-happy with the fourth-quarter targeting call against LSU linebacker, Devin White, during the Mississippi State game.
One dedicated fan is so upset they started a GoFundMe to put up billboards in Birmingham, AL — home of the SEC Headquarters. These billboards are planned to read “#FreeDevinWhite”.
The original goal of $4105 was surpassed in less than 24 hours. The campaign is already above $6000 in donations, and the excess money will be donated to the LSU Veterinary School, in honor of White’s love for horses.
The current ruling stands and this top defensive player will be sitting out for the first half of the LSU v Alabama game on November 3rd.
Coach Ed Orgeron announced that freshman Damone Clarke and sophomore Patrick Queen will be ready to go in White’s place.
Coach O says LSU is “better equipped than ever to play Alabama…”
