LSU will enter the Alabama game at No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings which were released Tuesday night.
Rounding out the top-four is No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson and No. 4 Notre Dame.
It’s the first time the Tigers have been ranked in the College Football Playoff rankings since its inaugural season in 2014.
LSU was ranked No. 4 in the AP and Coaches Poll on Monday.
Other SEC teams in the top-25 are No. 6 Georgia, No. 9 Kentucky, No. 11 Florida, No. 18 Mississippi State and No. 20 Texas A&M.
