Easter egg 2 : electric boogaloo focuses on Enter the Gungeon this week. A rogue-like top down shooter, enter the gungeon blends engaging gameplay and tight controls with a wonderful aesthetic and sense of humor. Developed by Dodge Roll in 2016, this bullet hell shooter can be compared to similar titles like The Binding of Isacc and Nuclear Throne. Enter the Gungeon features really well done pixel art graphics (even more impressive due to an overabundance of them in indie titles these days) and a killer soundtrack by doseone (also known for Heavy Bullets and Gang Beasts). You take control of one of six adventurers, each seeking the treasure of the gungeon: a gun that can kill the past. Each run through the gungeon is different, with huge variation in floor plan, enemy, and of course guns. Definitely worth your time especially considering the relative glut of indie rougelikes.
