The LSU Tigers defense was looking for a shutout and they got it, holding Southeastern scoreless.
“We wanted a shutout last week”, LSU linebacker Devin White said. “We came out and got our shutout.”
The offense came out admittedly a little flat. They scored 31 points but everyone knew it could have been a lot more.
“In the second half we gotta be consistent”, LSU running back Nick Brossette said. “We have to keep improving, we cant be lax, we have to keep scoring points.”
The LSU Tigers face another top 10 match up next week on the road vs the #6 ranked Auburn Tigers. This is their second top 10 matchup in only three weeks and many our doubting LSU once again.
“We our on the road next week and we are gonna prove a lot of people wrong”, LSU cornerback Greedy Williams “We are gonna come out and play our best game.”
The team is full of optimism and confidence. They aren’t letting any of the negativity get to them and they will continue to grind.
“I think we need to have a great week of practice”, LSU kicker Cole Tracy said. “I think we will.”
