Share your talent at Open Mic Night, hosted by the Student Activities Board in the LSU Student Union Live Oak Lounge from 8 to 10 p.m.
The LSU Horticulture Club hosts a house plant sale on the corner of Highland Road and South Stadium Dr. The sale is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Stay updated on the Horticulture Club’s events here.

See Baton Rouge-based folk five-piece Minos the Saint at Perkins Rowe’s Rock N Rowe fall concert series, which takes place every Thursday until Oct. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Local acts Dubya, Riverside Blues and _thesmoothcat & The 9th Life play the Varsity Theatre. Doors open at 8 p.m. and show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Buy tickets here.
Tsunami Sushi Baton Rouge and TreadBR host a free rooftop cardio class at 6 p.m. followed by happy hour specials.
Support LSU Soccer vs. Stetson at the LSU Soccer Complex on Skip Bertman Drive. The game starts at 7 p.m. and is free for students.

Tin Roof Brewing Company and Gnarly Barley release their new collaboration brew “Liger” in honor of the LSU vs. SLU matchup this weekend. Live music will be provided and food will be done by Rock Paper Taco and Barbosa’s Barbeque. 4 to 10 p.m.

Come out for Feminist in Action’s free drag show, DRAG Me Out of this Political Climate, in the LSU Student Union Royal Cotillion Ballroom. Doors open at 8 p.m. and show starts at 9 p.m.

The first home game of the season is finally here. The LSU Tigers take on the Southeastern Lions at 6 p.m. in Death Valley.

The LSU Olinde Career Center puts on its annual Fall Career Expo Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the PMAC. Day one is STEM focused and day two is business and liberal arts focused. Students can find more information here.
The LSU Graduation Fair is Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the LSU Bookstore.
Free beginner Yoga on the Lakes at BREC’s Milford Wampold Memorial Park at 7 p.m.

Sample new seasonal brews at The Radio Bar’s free Fall Beer Tasting. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Learn about science with a beer in hand at Astronomy on Tap. Put on at the Varsity Theatre, speakers featured include University professor Rob Hynes and University graduate student Erin Good. 7 to 9 p.m.
