Louisiana residents are no strangers to severe weather events. With the effects of Tropical Storm Florence devastating the Carolina’s and Virginia, a task force from Louisiana went to help.
This task force helped families and pets evacuate from their homes. Nearly hundreds of Louisiana emergency personal traveled to the Carolina’s in order to return the favor. In the past, emergency personnel from the Carolina’s sent emergency teams to help Louisiana residents.
LSU professor Jill Trepanier believes no matter how big the devastation might be, working together is the best way to survive and rebuild communities faster.
