No injuries have been reported after an incident today that forced students and faculty to evacuate Coates Hall around 2 p.m.
According to Hazmat officials, the evacuation was caused by a battery pack that “overheated” and “fizzled out.”
The overheated pack let out smoke and “led-acid fumes”.
