Lowell Narcisse will be attending Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in the fall, he announced via Twitter Thursday.
The former four-star recruit announced his decision to transfer from the program on Tuesday, and redshirt junior Justin McMillan announced his intent to transfer the following day. Both were absent from practice on Tuesday to evaluate their futures at LSU.
Narcisse was in a four-way quarterback competition with McMillan, junior Ohio State transfer Joe Burrow and sophomore Myles Brennan. Coach Ed Orgeron said all four quarterbacks were given “grades” that established an order among them after the first preseason scrimmage.
Narcisse never appeared in a game at LSU, but went 6-for-14 for 122 yards in Saturday’s scrimmage.
Narcisee can transfer to a D1 program after one season at MGCCC.
