During his last time addressing the media before heading to Arlington, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron explained that he believes the Tigers are more than ready to compete against the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday.
He also believes that the Tigers will be able to handle all of the noise inside of AT&T Stadium after practicing with a noise machine on Thursday.
“We know it’s going to be a home field advantage,” Orgeron said. “It’s going to be like Death Valley in there. I can’t wait.”
Orgeron also said that transfer Joe Burrow is playing with a lot more confidence since he was officially declared starting quarterback on Monday.
LSU and Miami will face off in Arlington, Texas on Sunday, September 2. Kickoff is set for 6:42 p.m. and will be aired on ABC.
