The biggest question surrounding the Tigers this offseason was “who will be the starting QB?”
Well now that question has been answered. It’ll be Joe Burrow, the Ohio State transfer.
Burrow beat out true-sophomore Myles Brennan.
Before announcing who the starter would be, LSU HC Ed Ogeron spoke to the media and said that the competition was fair and balanced throughout their camp.
“After the final grades were in, we measured the reps. One quarterback had 428 reps and the other had 427.”
Burrow has attempted just 39 passes in his collegiate career. He’ll add to that number this Sunday when LSU takes on the University of Miami inside AT&T stadium.
