The LSU chapter of Delta Chi fraternity has been placed on interim suspension while under investigation for alleged Code of Student Conduct violations. 
LSU spokesman Ernie Ballard has confirmed that Delta Chi was suspended on Monday per a letter presented by LSU Student Advocacy & Accountability for incidents that took place last week.
The letter prohibits the fraternity from taking part in intramural activities, conducting meetings, hosting social activities, allowing contact between old and new members, or participating in any activity without permission from the University. 
Ballard says that initial information gathered in the investigation does not indicate that hazing was involved.
