BRPD responded to a stabbing in the 4500 block of Y.A. Tittle around 5:45 p.m.
The male was being transported to a local hospital, according to Baton Rouge Police Department Sergeant Don Coppola.
LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard said no students were involved.
