LSU junior cornerback Kevin Toliver will forego his senior season to declare for the 2018 NFL Draft, he announced via Twitter Monday afternoon.
Toliver appeared in 31 games and made 18 total starts. He missed the final four games of his sophomore season due to a shoulder injury and was in and out of the lineup during his junior season. Toliver finishes his college career with 84 tackles, seven sacks and two interceptions.
Toliver joins junior edge rusher Arden Key as juniors who have declared for the draft and is expected to be followed by cornerback Donte Jackson and running back Derrius Guice. Offensive linemen Toby Weathersby, Will Clapp and Garrett Brumfield have also requested draft grades.
The former five-star recruit is expected to be a second to fourth round draft pick.
“DBU” has many underclassmen expected to fill the space left by Toliver, including redshirt freshman Greedy Williams and freshman Kary Vincent Jr.
