Student Government candidates Aaron Caffarel and Alli Robison of the “NOW” campaign have filed a complaint to the University Court against David Jones and Kacey Brister of the “Defining Our Future” campaign.
Danielle Rushing, UCourt chief justice, said Caffarel’s complaint claims Jones sent e-mails to students running on the “NOW” ticket after “NOW” did not advance to the run-offs, asking for their support of “Defining Our Future.” Rushing said Caffarel’s complaint claims this practice is against the election code.
The UCourt will hear the case Caffarel vs. Jones tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. in the Vieux-Carre room of the Student Union.
