Any questions that revolved around the commitment of four-star quarterback Jerrard Randall to LSU have been answered.
Randall, who previously committed to Oregon in June, has officially sent in his letter of intent to the Tigers, according to three different sources.
A report from ESPN.com’s Tom Luginbill stated that LSU received a verbal commitment from Randall on Friday. Tweets from both Shea Dixon, managing editor of TigerSportsDigest.com and Derek Ponamsky, recruiting analyst and publisher of BayouBengalsInsider.com confirmed the sign.
The Hollywood, Fla. native is listed as 10th best duel-threat quarterback in the 2011 class and has reeled in more than a dozen other offers.
With the signature, Randall becomes the 23rd member of the class and the third quarterback, along with Zach Mettenberger and three-star signee Stephen Rivers.
