Gov. Bobby Jindal is pitching in to help the New Orleans Hornets stay in the state.
The financially maligned franchise is not expected to meet its benchmark revenue requirement of its lease with the state. Thus, Jindal has pledged $7 million help it meet that goal.
Jindal told The Times Picayune Monday the money will be drawn from the LSED budget.
