O. Perry Walker High School cornerback Dwayne Thomas committed to the LSU football team before Saturday’s spring game, according to Scout.com.
The Scout three-star recruit is ranked as the 20th best cornerback in the nation.
Thomas also has offers from Arizona, Nebraska and Tulane, among other schools.
The New Orleans native is LSU’s first cornerback commitment and ninth pledge for the 2012 class.
