The LSU baseball team was the only squad to drop out of the Baseball America poll national rankings after being swept by Arkansas last season.
The Tigers (21-11, 3-9), who were previously ranked No. 17, were also kicked out of the Collegiate Baseball poll and fell to No. 24 in the USA Today coaches’ poll.
Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Florida all remained No. 1, 3 and 4, respectively.
