UCLA coach Nikki Caldwell has been named head coach of the LSU women’s basketball team.
Caldwell, who was an assistant at Tennessee under legendary coach Pat Summitt, takes the reins after foremer coach Van Chancellor resigned.
“Nikki is one of the best and brightest coaches in the country and LSU fans will be proud of the way she will represent this program,” said LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said
