East Baton Rouge Parish is under a tornado watch until 6 p.m. today, according to the National Weather Service.
NWS also issued a wind advisory and a flood warning for East Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes, as a “strong cold front” moves through the area.
An 80% chance of severe thunderstorms is predicted for this afternoon, continuing through tonight.
