Four days after the tragic death of LSU football coach Les Miles’ sister, a benefit fund has been established for the two daughters she left behind.
Ann Browne, of Zachary, worked for a residential security system company and was leaving a meeting with a client last Friday in Addis when she was hit by a pickup truck.
Browne, 54, died at the scene.
She is survived by her daughters, Jessie and Katie Browne. Jessie is a freshman pitcher on Southeastern Louisiana’s softball team and Katie is a junior at Zachary High School.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Ann Hope Browne Memorial Fund at Hancock Bank on Citiplace Court.
A private service was held Tuesday to celebrate Browne’s life. Browne was originally from Elyria, Ohio, which is also Miles’ hometown.
