The Vanderbilt tennis teams made it look easy on Friday — twice.
Both the Commodore men and women rolled over LSU, 7-0.
The No. 21 Lady Commodores grabbed the early doubles point at W.T. “Dub” Robinson Stadium and cruised to an easy victory.
Jackie Wu made quick work of LSU’s Olivia Howlett in straight sets, and No. 118 Rachel Dillon followed with a two-set victory of her own against sophomore Keri Frankenberger.
In a top 100 showdown on court 1, No. 68 Alex Leatu downed No.66 junior Whitney Wolf, 6-2, 6-0 to finish off the Lady Tigers (10-11, 4-5).
The loss was LSU’s fourth 7-0 loss in five matches.
The story was the same in Nashville for the LSU men’s team.
Vanderbilt’s men swept LSU in doubles and collected three-straight set wins to snap LSU’s two-match winning streak.
The road doesn’t get any easier for LSU (9-11, 4-5) as it travels to Lexington, Ky. on Sunday to face No. 12 Kentucky.
The Lady Tigers take on Kentucky on Sunday at home.
