With their latest rap-comedy venture “Turtleneck and Chain” the Lonely Island boys are running out of steam. It seems as though the boys, Andy Sandberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, collaborating with the originator of “G-Funk” Snoop Dogg, can’t quite come up with the same stuff they used to. The song is a silly anthem to, of course, wearing a turtleneck and chain. It seems like the boys are running out of material and are now just being silly. The songs still fun, but not nearly as clever as their original hits.
