The Board of Regents announced Monday it will publicly interview an
applicant for the position of Commissioner of Higher Education.
Jim Purcell, the current director of the Arkansas Department of Higher
Education, will be interviewed by the Regents’ Search Committee on
Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Louisiana Purchase Room of the
Claiborne Building.
The meeting will be open to the public and streamed live. Citizens may
also submit comments electronically via the Board of Regents website.
