Grade: B-
Sci-fi young adult film “I Am Number Four” holds the audience’s attention but contains excessive traces from multiple supernatural teenage movies. This is a great breakout film for actor Alex Pettyfer playing the lead role of John. Dianna Agron breaks out of her safety zone and plays a role other than the well known “Quinn” from “Glee.” Overall, the film was pretty good, but it was originally the first novel of a six-book series, so this will likely be another movie to fall victim to neverending sequels.
