Junior pitcher Tyler Jones won’t be in uniform this weekend.
LSU coach Paul Mainieri said Wednesday at media day that Jones, a junior college transfer, will sit out the Tigers’ series with Wake Forest this weekend for disciplinary reasons.
Mainieri said Jones could start Tuesday against UNO.
Jones, who was likely to start on Sunday against the Demon Deacons, will likely be replaced by Ryan Eades or Kurt McCune in the rotation.
