BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The suburbs of Baton Rouge were among Louisiana’s fastest growing parishes over the last decade, while the parishes hardest-hit by hurricanes Katrina and Rita had the largest losses.
Louisiana received its more detailed breakdown of the 2010 Census data Thursday.
Among the statistics:
—Ascension and Livingston parishes had the largest percentage of growth, topping more than 39 percent.
