Eight LSU football players have been invited to the NFL Combine, which starts Feb. 23 in Indianapolis.
The list includes: cornerback Patrick Peterson, defensive tackle Drake Nevis, offensive tackle Joseph Barksdale, kicker Josh Jasper, defensive tackle Lazarius Levingston, running back Stevan Ridley, linebacker Kelvin Sheppard, and wide receiver Terrence Toliver.
LSU is tied with Georgia for the most invitees by a Southeastern Conference school.
The NFL Combine puts NFL prospects through a series of physical tests before the NFL draft in April. The events include the 40-yard dash, the 225-pound bench press and the vertical jump.
