Helen Boyle named SEC Freshman of the Week

Outside hitter Helen Boyle took SEC Freshman of the Week honors Monday for the first time in her LSU career.
She amassed 18 kills and delivered with a .405 hitting clip and 18 digs against Auburn in a 3-1 LSU victory Friday. Her previous career best was 16 kills.
Boyle added another 10 digs and 11 kills, including the match-clincher, in a tight 3-2 comeback win Sunday against Georgia.
