The Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre will debut its holiday classic, “The Nutcracker: A Tale from the Bayou,” on Dec. 17 and 18 at the River Center Theatre, and some University students may spot a familiar face on stage.
Craig Freeman, mass communication associate professor, will be joining the cast as a “party ready.”
Freeman will begin the festivities in the first act.
“Star is probably a little bit of an understatement, but I can’t give away all the plot details,” Freeman said. “I’m at the party at the beginning of ‘The Nutcracker’ where all of the fantasy begins. I am in the scene from which all the great things in the performance
