Home can be represented by many things: a comfortable desk, a bed or a window to stare out of.
The idea of home is explored in the latest performance project to come to the HopKins Black Box Theatre, titled “Home show.”
The performance collaborates with professors Lisa Flangalan of Xavier University and Danielle Vignes of BRCC.
The group has been working with community-service projects like Habitat for Humanity in Baton Rouge and Komen Race for the Cure in New Orleans, which was a basis for what to do during “Home home.”
“Home Bodies” will be presented tonight and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the HopKins Black Box Theatre. Tickets are a suggested donation price of $5, and audience members are also asked to donate a canned good at the door.
