(AP) — Gov. Bobby Jindal’s administration won’t release the names or the number of people who have applied to be on the board for a new corporation to run all state housing assistance programs.
Christina Stephens, a spokeswoman for the governor’s Division of Administration, said the applications have been sent to the governor’s office — and once there, were exempt from public records laws.
The Associated Press formally requested the information, but Stephens said it can be kept hidden from the public.
