LSU Associate Athletic Director and Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette announced Monday that the Oct. 1 kickoff for the Tigers’ game against Kentucky will be at 11:20 a.m.
This will mark the first time since September 2006, a 48-17 victory against Mississippi State, that LSU will host a Southeastern Conference opponent in this time slot. In 2008, LSU faced Appalachian State at 10 a.m. because of the threat of Hurricane Gustav.
The game will air on the SEC Network.
